The partnership between Tech Unite Africa and the Startup World Cup is a testament to their shared commitment to empowering emerging startups and providing them with invaluable opportunities for growth and success. As part of this partnership, Tech Unite Africa will host the  Africa regional for the  Startup  World Cup which will be held at the Muson Convention Center, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria on the 26th of March 2024. The Grand Finale of the Startup World Cup will be held on October, 4th 2024 in San Francisco United States. This partnership ensures that African Startups have an opportunity to pitch to investors on a global stage, connect with industry leaders and potential partners, and gain exposure, insights and feedback that will ensure their success. “We are thrilled to partner with Startup World Cup to further our mission of empowering entrepreneurs and driving innovation in the tech startup sector,” said Jidenna Iwuno, the Project Manager of Tech Unite Africa. “This collaboration presents an exciting opportunity for us to support emerging startups, foster meaningful connections, and contribute to the vibrant ecosystem of entrepreneurship and innovation.”

What is the Startup World Cup?
The Startup World Cup is a prestigious international pitch competition that draws innovators, tech enthusiasts, and venture capitalists from around the globe. With its extensive network of regional competitions, this event provides a platform for startups to shine and potentially secure substantial funding. Tech Unite Africa 2024 is honoured to be hosting the regional pitch competition for the Startup World Cup, providing an opportunity for African Startups to showcase their talents.The Road to Silicon Valley: Pitch for $1 Million Investment
Here’s how you can participate in this incredible opportunity:- Submit a form on the Startup World Cup African Regional Page To join the race for the $1 million investment, you’ll need to register to secure your  Your company can be at any stage of development: pre-seed, seed, startup or scale-up. Note that you must be a legal entity,
- Submit Your Pitch Deck: Prepare a compelling Pitch Deck, visit the Startup World Cup registration site, register and showcase your startup or scale-up’s innovation and potential.
- Compete in the Live Knockout Rounds: The top finalists from the submitted pitch decks will compete in the live knockout rounds at Tech Unite Africa 2024. This is where your pitch skills will be put to the test in front of a panel of judges.
- The Winner Heads to Silicon Valley Grand Finale: The winner of the Tech Unite Africa African Regional pitch competition will earn the privilege of representing Africa and competing against other regional champions at the Startup World Cup Grand Finale in Silicon Valley, scheduled for October 4th, 2024. The overall champion will receive a remarkable 1 million dollar investment – a game-changer for any startup or scale-up. Top judges and investors from around the world will be in attendance. (Travel expenses are to be covered by the startup).
