The Super Eagles of Nigeria will wear a new jersey when the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers commences later this year. Set to be unveiled on February 5, 2020, in the United States of America. The new jersey might also be used when the Nigerian national team resumes qualifiers for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in March, 2020. Three-times African champions, Nigeria, wowed the football and fashion world in 2018 with their jersey at the FIFA World Cup in Russia which left fans trooping to fashion stores to purchase the authentic kit designed and produced by world’s number one sports kit manufacturers, Nike.

It will be recalled that fans of the West African team and fashion enthusiasts, lined Oxford Street in London, United Kingdom, for hours to ensure they pick up the authentic Super Eagles jersey prior to the start of the Russia 2018 World Cup. While fans anticipate the new jersey design for the Super Eagles, President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Melvin Pinnick has predicted a longer queue for the jersey.
