happy fathers day. most especially to my wonderful and lovely dad.
This poem was not written by Helen Steiner Rice. I wrote it for my father in 1984. My mother still has the original copy that I sent through the mail to my father. The sad but stupid fact is that I did not rush to copyright it before I posted it online because I thought the poem turned out so nice. I knew very little about copyright at that time. But I have since heard that once anything goes online it becomes public domain and anyone can claim it. So this is a warning to all-please copyright anything before posting it online.
