Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh has surprisingly left Chelsea duo, John Mikel Obi and Victor Moses out of the 18-man team for next month’s 2017 CAF Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Tanzania. Wolverhampton Wanderers keeper, Carl Ikeme, who qualifies to play for Nigeria through his father, is in the squad as well as two other new players: Russia-based Izunna Ernest Uzochukwu and Sylvester Igboun. The overseas players are to join up with the 23 others from the domestic league in Abuja not later than Monday, 31 August.
