A song of hope
“Heal Our Land” is inspired by the prayer in the second stanza of the Nigerian national anthem, calling for God to look into the affairs of our nation, see her citizen’s desperation for a better life and give direction to her leaders. It is a song of hope, reminding us that we are not alone in our desire for a better Nigeria.
Wów may not have won the star prize, at The Voice Nigeria, Season 2 but he certainly won the hearts of many with his energetic performance and mind-blowing vocals.
Chuks Gbenga Aniebonam
Chuks Gbenga Aniebonam better known as Wów is a passionate and energetic inspirational singer. He started singing and writing songs at 13 and has led the boy band “His Voice”, The Joint Praise Choir – a non-denominational mass choir at the Anambra State University (now Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University), and served as assistant music director and prime Praise leader of City of David choir, House On The Rock Church Enugu.
In 2017, he participated in the music reality TV show,nwhere he held viewers spellbound with his electrifying stage performance. He was 3rd runner-up at the competition.
The singer/songwriter, who hopes to become Africa’s number 1 inspirational singer and brand, has a couple of albums, but this is his first single since the competition.
