The 2018 edition of the Social Media Week Lagos starts today 26 February 2018 and would be held for a week. Here is why you need to attend the event:

In a time when Black Panther has stirred up conversations about telling our African stories the African way, it is only right that we learn how using our technology.

The event which is themed “Closer”, is aimed at bringing people together and fostering community both online and offline. With over 200 sessions and experiences ranging keynote speeches, masterclasses, workshops, and meetups, the event is loaded with a variety of discussions which covers the future of media, travel and tourism, governance, gender inclusion of women in technology, entertainment, emerging ideas and trends across the globe.

The event which would be held at Landmark center promises to be exciting.
