Osun Elections
On Monday, it was reported that Senator Ademola Adeleke, the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in the 2018 Osun election had been invited by the Police at the Force Headquarters, Abuja. According to the Police spokesman, Frank Mba, Senator Adeleke was arrested over ongoing criminal investigations regarding his person. This is coming after the Election Petition Tribunal ruled in favour of the senator after he had lost the Osun Governorship election to Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressive Congress (APC). Adeleke has, however, been granted a N2m bail by the Magistrate Court in Mbape, Abuja.
Meanwhile, Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressive Party (APC), has been afirmed winner of the 2018 Osun State Governorship election by the Court of Appeal. The court delivered this judgment after an election tribunal ruled in March 2019 that Ademola Adeleke won the election and not the Oyetola, the sworn-in candidate.
The treatment of Adeleke does just one thing,
— The Kingmaker 🦥 (@SmithVinci) May 7, 2019
It further demonizes Gboyega Oyetola & APC in the eyes of the people of Osun State.
No matter what he achieves, he will be treated as an Illegitimate Leader
Bad for everyone.
I wonder if there re up to 10 thinking people in APC😪
Senator Adeleke charged before a magistrate for same matter he was charged before a High Court.

PDP needs to allow police to do their job. It's the duty of the court to adjudicate based on the evidence either to convict Adeleke or not. Adeleke wasn't detained because he's a PDP member. He was detained because he falsified documents. A criminal offense.

BUHARI, FOR GOD SAKE STOP THIS MADNESS AND LEAVE DEMOLA ADELEKE ALONE! DETAINING HIM WILL NOT HELP YOU. WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT HE WILL BE SWORN IN AS GOVERNOR OF OUR BELOVED OSUN STATE. IMOLE TI DE! YOU WILL NOT AND CANNOT ROB THE PEOPLE OF OSUN OR DENY THEM THEIR CHOICE!

This madness has to stop…
I believe Atiku and Adeleke won the elections they contested in.There are myriad of evidence to back up this claim with

But this is Nigeria.Worst still, this is a Nigeria run by a power-drunk illiterate enabled by a power-crazed canal. They'd destroy everything to remain in power.

It’s really true that Senator Adeleke was detained by the police after honoring an invitation. This is a comedy government. LOL 🤣
— Comrade Deji Adeyanju (@adeyanjudeji) May 6, 2019
You can’t shame the shameless.
For a matter that is in Court, they are using police to harass Adeleke. This is their way of holding on to their stolen mandate in Osun.

The logic of a monkey.

Abayomi Shogunle’s Impromptu Transfer

Abayomi Shogunle
Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Abayomi Shongule, is no stranger to Twitter drama. This week Twitter was sent into a frenzy after it was announced that the ACP had been transferred to a location in Ebonyi State known as Nkalagu. This came after he made a controversial statement about prostitution in Nigeria.
I'm not in support of the transfer of #yomishogunle to #nkalagu biko. Alaigbo is not a dumping ground for the unwanted.
— Pzoch (@pzoch_) May 4, 2019
If they really want to get rid of him, then send him to his village.PeriodT!!!
@SirDavson please where is this place at?😂😂😂😂😂 #Nkalagu
— Lengka Gowong (@LGowong) May 4, 2019
Trying to imagine the look on 'Buoda Yomi's face when he reads this😂😂#Nkalagu https://t.co/n33wUy1glO
— Abiola #EndSARS (@abiola_beeholz) May 4, 2019
When Joyner Lucas said take Yomi Shogunle give us global peace, IGP felt that shit. #Nkalagu
— Bobrisky (@bobrisky222_) May 4, 2019
I don't agree with @YomiShogunle often on several issues which includes the recent P saga, but transferring him @PoliceNG is not D best, I think it should be best addressed as a gap in knowledge and that gap should be filled within d force. #Nkalagu #YomiInNkalagu #bringbackYomi

This is savagery at its best. This one loud gan ooo. @YomiShogunle trust this would make you sir refrain your steps and keep up the good work you started but not consistent with. You serve the public not the cabals. Enjoy #Nkalagu God bless you sir and have a wonderful day. https://t.co/G0R7iauBZL

My Opinion:
— Jimi 🧡🕊🕊 (@Jimidamilola) May 4, 2019
I don't think this transfer is the best of reactions. Now the people of #Nkalagu will suffer without a voice, what people who had voices suffered for so long before all they got was a "transfer"
Oh! what a shame! 😭😭
Chai….. The person that suggested #Nkalagu to the IG for his transfer also has an issue with him…

The person must have researched deeply and technically for a good purpose…. Chai…. #Nkalagu
Burna Boy and The Industry

Atlantic Records
This week, Afrobeat crooner, Burnaboy, trended over a series of controversial statements he made on Social Media over the music industry. After criticising the current trend of Nigerian musicians signing foreign deals just a week ago, the singer took to social media to criticise Nigerian music acts who take pride in celebrating their streaming number. Here is how Nigerians reacted.
Lmao I love Burna Boy! So real!!! Y’all didn’t kill J Cole for this! So?? pic.twitter.com/85z0fNoj68
— Chibyk (@officialchibyk) May 7, 2019
I don't blame Burna boy at all, all these nonsense came from those who overhyped him for peanuts last year. Isale Eko Wizkhalifa oshi

Burna can be anything, overrated isn't of them.
