It was an emotional moment for Nigerian crooner, Wizkid, when Drake, one of the world’s arguably most popular performer brought him out on stage to perform with him at the 02 Arena London. It should be noted that the artists have both featured each other in their songs “Come Closer” and “One Dance” but for the first time, Nigerians got to see them perform live on stage.

This week, the Nigerian Senate urged the government to intensify efforts to secure the freedom of Leah Sharibu. This triggered the reactions of many Nigerians across the country who also showed their concerns over the release of Leah. Leah was kidnapped alongside 111 other girls in Dapchi, Yobe State in February 2018. She is the only captive who is yet to be released.
