Who Is Dimma Umeh?
Dimma Umeh is a YouTuber, vlogger, and blogger who hails from Anambra State. She is the first child of seven children and had her childhood in Enugu. Prior to launching her YouTube channel, Dimma studied Banking and Finance and furthered her education by enrolling for a master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Education. This equipped her with the skillset to create content about beauty on the completion of her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). If you do a quick search on YouTube for Nigerian beauty and lifestyle content, Dimma’s videos will pop up as one of the search results. She creates content around makeup, beauty, and lifestyle. According to her, she was camera shy and doubted that her videos will attract views due to her conspicuous Nigerian accent. Thanks to her extensive knowledge about beauty and lifestyle, Dimma has garnered over 25 million views on Youtube. Dimma is also known as “That Igbo Chick”, a name she adopted after reading “Half of a Yellow Sun” by Chimamanda Adichie and coming across other bloggers who had names such as “That New York Chick” and “That London Chick”.

Given the growth and impact of her Youtube channel and blog, Dimma has been featured on reputable publications such as Essence Magazine, Genevieve magazine, and Guardian Life.
