Fireboy DML
Adedamola Adefolahan, best known as Fireboy DML, is yet again another artiste from Olamide’s YBNL record label that has achieved significant success in the music industry. He became a pop sensation when he released his breakout song “Jealous“, which has amassed over 4.8 million views on Youtube. To the thrill of fans who were already rooting for him and hoping to see more of him music-wise, Fireboy came through with his album titled, ‘Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps’, which was well-received by the public and brought forth a lot of party bangers such as “Scatter“. No doubt, Fireboy DML is a unique artiste in every sense of the word. He possesses so much energy and musicianship that it is hard not to pay him attention.
Rema
Rema has no shortage of fans, thanks to his ability to infuse his songs with his own unique style as well as sounds that are relevant in today’s pop culture. Divine Ikubor aka Rema was introduced to the world by Jonzing World record boss, D’Prince, who discovered him on Instagram. Following the success of his debut song “Dumebi“, Rema went on to release more hit singles such as “Corny” and “Lady“, proving that he is in the right hands. In 2019, his song “Iron Man” appeared on former US President, Barack Obama’s summer playlist and he won the Next Rated awards at the Headies.
Joeboy
Joeboy is another talented young artist known for his melodious love songs that come with entertaining animated visuals. The highlight of Joeboy’s career in 2019 was when he released the viral hit song “Baby“, which amassed over 20 million views on Youtube. He went on to release the hit single “Begining” and “Don’t Call Me Back” featuring Mayorkun, which have both relatively done well. With the apparent consistency of his career so far, there’s no sign of him slowing down anytime soon.

WurlD
Fast-rising Nigerian-American based artiste, Sadiq Onifade, may have been in the game for a while but he gained more prominence in the industry after he dropped his first EP titled “Love is Contagious” in March 2019. WurlD’s music style is a blend of Nigerian juju music, pop, and R&B. This is apparent in some of his works, especially “Contagious“, a song in his EP “Love is Contagious“. The blue-haired artiste won Headies’ Male Vocalist of 2019 award and this increased his mainstream appeal. Following his win at the Headies, WurlD teamed up with Davido on ‘Sweet In The Middle’, a song of Davido’s ‘A Good Time’ album.
Lyta
Lyta started the year 2019 with a controversial exit from YBNL record label. To the surprise of many, he kick-started his career by releasing hit single “Monalisa“, which has garnered over 800,000 views on Youtube. He went on to collaborate with Davido on “Monalisa” remix, which brought him more mainstream success and has increased his chances of succeeding in the industry.
