Fela Durotoye
Fela first declared intent to run for the Presidency earlier in 2018. He is the CEO of Visible Impact – an agency committed to tackling social and environmental challenges, with the aim to build people into hardcore achievers. Dubbed “Mr. Nigeria” because of his apparent love for the country, Fela has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science with Economics, two Masters Degrees in Business Administration and Strategic Management respectively; He is also a graduate of the Kennedy School of Government at the prestigious Harvard University (USA). Donald Duke
A former Governor of Cross River State and past Commissioner for Finance and Planning, Donald Duke declared his interest to run for the Presidency on 8th June 2018. He is known for initiating the Calabar Carnival in 2004 which has been tagged “Africa’s biggest Street Party” and also the Tinapa Resort Project which was initiated as an avenue to boost business and Tourism in Cross River State. Donald obtained a Bachelor of Law from Ahnmadu Bello University, Zaria. He attended the Nigeria Law School in Lagos and subsequently attained a Masters Degree in Business Law and Admiralty at the University of Pennsylvania in the United States. Eunice Atuejide
Eunice Atuejide is a Legal Practioner, Nigerian Businesswoman, and politician. Eunice’s patriotism has seen her form the National Interest Party – a technology-driven political party formed from an alliance between like-minded individuals to ensure free and fair elections that will be conducted online. Interestingly, she is a linguist who speaks Igbo, Yoruba, German, and English Languages fluently. She graduated with a Diploma in Law, the Graduate LLB, the Legal Practice Course, and the LLM in Professional Legal Practice at BPP University, London, United Kingdom. Omoleye Sowore
Known as a fiery activist and founder of Sahara Reporters, Omoleye Sowore declared intent to run for the presidency earlier in 2018. He began his activism at the university of Lagos where he led the Student Union Government (SUG). He studied Geography and Plannings while engaging in activities to curb cultism in the University. Sowore’s activist lifestyle would later lead him to found Sahara Reporters – an online news source that gathers reports on corruption, human rights abuse, political misconduct, and other vices in Nigeria. Remi Sonaiya
Remi Sonaiya was Nigeria’s only female candidate in the 2015 General election. She has once again come forward to contest for the Presidency in 2019. Remi studied French at the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) and went on to obtain a Masters Degree in French Literature from Cornell University. After having an active career as a Professor of French and Applied Linguistics at the Obafemi Awolowo University, she veered into politics by joining the KOWA party, under which she is contesting.
