The Critics
With a cracked smartphone and hardly any equipment, this group of 8 kids called The Critics has carved a niche for themselves by shooting sci-fi movies. Amazingly, The Critics learnt all they know about visual effects from online tutorials on Youtube. They went viral this year after filmmaker Kemi Adetiba endorsed them in an enthusiastic tweet in June. She also helped them raise funds for them to upgrade their equipment. Their most recent project is a music video for the American Punk Group.
Basil Okpara Jr
At age 9, Basil Okpara Jr. has built over 30 mobile games using the free programming language Scratch. He got inspired to accomplish this remarkable feat after his father cautioned him to be more productive instead of spending most of his time playing games. Today, Basil’s love for game development has seen him build over 30 mobile games and release one of them, Frog Attack, on Google Play store.
Amarachi Uyaenne

She became famous after emerging winner of Nigeria’s Got Talent maiden edition which saw her win a cash prize of N10 million.
