Physical fitness can be said to be the state of being physically hale and hearty. To qualify as a healthy individual, you must be strong, be in excellent shape, happy, and disease-free. Interestingly, these are all the qualities that come with adopting a fitness lifestyle. Following these female fitness enthusiasts will guide you in achieving your fitness goals:

Kola Olaosebikan

Kola Olaosebikan is a Certified Fitness Trainer (CPT), owner of the Koboko Fitness Blog and a Youtube vlogger. Kola has written several articles on fitness, diet and natural hair tips on Bella Naija and has also curated various on her own blog. Her workout videos on YouTube constitute body weight exercises which don’t require any equipment and can be done at home. These exercises include abs workouts, upper body workouts, arm workouts, leg workouts, amongst others.

Regina Giwa

Regina Giwa is a certified fitness trainer and lawyer. She is known for her “booty workout” tutorials on her social media handles. Her newly established Youtube channel Regina’s Life centres mainly on lower body workouts.

Ejiro “EJ” Ogenyi

As a college student, EJ Ogenyi fell so in love with the “American diet” and she put on a lot of weight while pursuing an engineering degree in the US. EJ’s weight sky-rocketed to the extent that she ended up at a staggering 150kg (330 lbs). Though she met some obstacles along the way, she chose to stick to a strict fitness routine and eventually found success. Today, EJ helps others on their weight loss journey through her blog and regular contributions to Bella Naija and Radiant Health Magazine. She is the author of Weight Loss For High Achievers; a book written: “to help busy professional women lose weight, keep it off, and feel amazing”.

I had to make the call…after two straight workouts of either being interrupted by my toddler or needing to keep my infant engaged while working out, I decided I needed to hire “a me.” So I joined the gym at work and hired a trainer. – I needed someone to do some of the mental heavy lifting of programming for me. After I had Riley, I relied on the workout videos that I had made for clients, but with Sofia…I’ve had to modify in ways that I didn’t anticipate when I made those videos. – The workout videos I have are heavy on the lunges and the single-leg movements to ratchet up the calorie burn (300 calories + in 30 minutes) and target the tummy like no other. But those are the types of moves that I need to be careful with as I help my body recover from a pregnancy riddled with pubic bone pain. – I’m excited about this choice, and I’ve already crushed my first workout with my trainer and I plan to go for another round today! – But…going to the gym is harder for me than working out at home because I have to drive somewhere. I can’t just roll out of bed, wear my clothes, and be done 30 minutes later. I’ll be sharing more about how I’m getting over that since the kids aren’t making home the best place to workout either. – Over to you…what’s the biggest challenge you have with exercising consistently? – #WorkLifestyle #HealthyMommy #Workoutplan #MomLifeRocks #ButItIsAChallenge
