Here are 4 TV on-air personalities you should know
Ikponmwosa Osakioduwa
If there is one TV on-air personality who has enjoyed longevity in the industry, it is Ikponmwosa Osakioduwa. Fondly called IK, the charismatic compere started his career on Rhythm 93.7FM where he was known as Wild Child for his electrifying personality. In September 2009, IK started hosting the Big Brother Africa reality TV series, taking over from Kabelo Ngakane. The show gained popularity within a short time, putting IK on the map as a talented compere and making him one of the most sought after TV on-air personalities to date. He has gone on to host other prestigious shows including The Voice Nigeria and Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCAs).
Ebuka Obi-Uchencu
Ebuka Obi-Uchencu is one of the most revered TV on-air personalities in Nigeria, particularly for his style and eloquence on stage. He came into limelight after he participated in the first season of the Big Brother Naija show in 2006. In 2013, he became the host of Rubbin’ Minds, the popular TV show for young Nigerians, and has since interviewed some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. Ebuka had his big break when he hosted the second season of the Big Brother Naija reality TV show in 2017. He has since been the anchorman for two more successive seasons of the show.
Nancy Isime
Nancy Isime kicked-off her career as a model before winning the Miss Valentine International beauty pageant of 2009. After her win in the pageant, Nancy veered into acting, starring in the TV series Echoes, in 2011. She soon ventured into the world of TV presenting, appearing in shows such as The Squeeze, MTN Project Fame Season 7 and Trending on Hip TV. Her mainstream appeal increased when she co-hosted the 2019 edition of The Headies award alongside Reminisce. Nancy also runs her own show, tagged The Nancy Isime Show, which airs on Hip TV and AIT.

Moet Abebe
Laura Monyeazo Abebe, popularly known as Moet Abebe, began her career as a TV presenter after she moved to Nigeria from the United Kingdom. Three months after her move to Lagos she started working with Soundcity TV as a TV presenter and producer. Since then, she has graced many red carpet events, interviewed many celebrities, and has been nominated for awards such as TV presenter of the year” by Exquisite Magazine and many more.
