It is a fact that a majority of us hate Monday mornings when we have to rush and hustle to get to work or school. It is the beginning of a new week and we are expected to be prepared with new and positive energy to face the week headlong. However, this energy may not be felt each and every new Monday. This can be as a result of many reasons ranging from having an interesting weekend to dreading work at the beginning of a new week. Monday mornings do not have to be hectic and energy sapping if you know the right tricks and tips. You can try the following and see your Monday mornings less hectic:
- Lay out your clothes: It is usually very annoying to start sorting out attires for the day on a Monday morning. To cope with this, choose and iron your clothes during the weekend, do not wait until Monday before arranging your wardrobe. Having your attire ready and at hand will save you time and ease the stress of having to choose from the entire closet.
- Wake up early: Who doesn’t like sleeping late and turning around in bed? But we all have responsibilities and requirements and these will not allow you to sleep for long, they will rather motivate you to wake up early. Waking up early is one of the tricks to having a stress-less Monday morning as it gives you ample time to get set. Remember that sleeping early is the key to waking up early.
- Have breakfast: Breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it gives the body a great start and provides the body with much-needed energy to fuel activities. Leaving your house without having breakfast is not a good idea because your body needs energy for carrying out biological functions. A good meal in the morning will provide the body with nutrients to produce this much-needed energy. Make sure you grab a good breakfast so as to enjoy your Monday mornings better.
- Have a schedule: Planning a schedule will make your work easier not only on Monday mornings but also on other days. Once you have each activity to be carried out planned in a stepwise fashion, it becomes easier to carry out routinely. Just make sure your schedule fits the available time frame from the moment you wake up till you get moving. With time, this schedule becomes an easy routine that gets integrated into your mornings.
