The terms of the deal will see Silverbird bring its cinematic experience, exhibition, and distribution infrastructure in the continent and Los Angeles, USA to the table, while AAA Entertainment will bring to the table its experienced film development, facilities, financing, production crew, and partnership network. To fund the deal, the partnership which was signed at the Afreximbank pavilion during the Intra African Trade Fair (IATF) in Durban South Africa, and witnessed by Augustine Chukwuemeka Uzoh, Afreximbank’s Manager of Trade and Corporate Finance (Intra-African Trade Initiative), will depend on the African Export-Import Bank’s (Afreximbank) $500 million Creative Industry Programme.

Reacting to the development, Silverbirb boss Murray Bruce expressed the group’s excitement towards venturing into the sphere of feature film production.
“Silverbird has a long history in the Nigerian media and entertainment sector. We began our journey as a live entertainment events company and expanded that into a network of television and radio station properties. We have successfully built the premiere West African film distribution & exhibition company and now it is with excitement that we pivot into the feature film production sphere by announcing our partnership with AAA Entertainment.”In a similar vein, the Head of Distribution and Financing at AAA Entertainment Mayenzeke Baza said:
