Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Airtel Nigeria, Segun Ogunsanya, has been revealed as the “Telecom CEO of The Year.” The announcement was made at the 19th edition of the 2014 Nigerian Telecoms Awards, which was held this past Saturday 20
th September, at the Incubator Event Centre, Oniru, VI, Lagos.
Airtel Nigeria, a leading global telecommunications services provider with operations in 20 countries across Asia and Africa, also won the award for the ‘Most Customer Friendly Network’.
The 2014 Nigerian Telecoms Award night was graced by prominent individuals such as former Minister of Sports, Chief Alex Akinyele; former Ogun State Governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel and Executive Director, Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), Hon. Lola Edewor among other notable personalities.
