The next version of Samsung’s Galaxy smartphones will be spotting biometric security scanners, the company has announced.
The biometric scanners will be similar to that of rival smartphone, Apple iPhone 5, in that the main button in front of the phone will double as the fingerprint scanner for unlocking it. But there’s more. Samsung also disclosed that the new S5, which is water and dust-resistant, will have the “world’s fastest” auto-focusing camera. The security scanner on the phone is designed in such a way that it features a “private mode”, which is a means of ensuring access of sensitive information only through the scanner.You might also like:
