Safaree Kallys is a British-Nigerian Entertainer / YouTuber who went mainstream in the summer of 2018 after popular afrobeats singer, Simi and 2face Idibia posted her cover of their chat topping songs.
Safaree who was only 2 years old at the time, became famous for her unique ability to learn songs after a few spins. Her rise to fame wasn’t just her ability to learn these songs almost immediately, but the composure and charisma delivering it. It didn’t take long after, before Safaree started getting paid by artist to cover their songs.
By summer of the following year, Safaree, 3, had grossed over 500,000 naira and had a following of 85,000 on Instagram. Apart from doing covers, Safaree does comedy skits, toy reviews and featured in Play Buoy’s single; “This Life”, released in September 2018, making her the most famous Nigerian child.
In March 2018, Safaree launched her clothing line via her online store; Shop Safaree (Shopify, Facebook and Instagram).
Safaree Kallys was born in Glasgow on the 25th of October 2015. She’s from a family of 4, with a Nigerian father and Scottish mother. Safaree’s father turn manager, Play Buoy, is a former Nigerian afrobeat artist with a hit record, Playboy ft. Brymo to his credit.
