  Caribbean-Youth-Empowerment-Program2 MTN, as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative partners with RISE Networks, a private sector funded youth-interest organization in advancing the vision and knowledge of Nigerian youths by engaging youths across the country in a National Development Forum. The forum is targeted at advancing the aspirations and knowledge of youths all over the nation by providing them with the opportunity to interact with renowned and successful Nigerian business Icons and professionals who are willing to share with them their knowledge and experience on their successes. The GM-Consumer Marketing, MTN Nigeria, Mr. Kolawole Oyeyemi explained that the company’s partnership with RISE Networks is mutual and also expands that, “A key strategic focus of MTN is to, constantly, provide an engaging platform for Nigerian youths and the company has continuously demonstrated this through innovative ways across various areas of life, like the Project Fame, Link Forum, Lagos Street Soccer, Football Scholar, App Challenge, DoBox, Songstar among others.” He spoke on the benefits of the National Development Forum, “Through this platform, many talented young Nigerians who will lead Nigeria into that envisioned ‘greater tomorrow’ will be unearthed, as they will hear from those who have excelled in different areas of lives, established icons, esteemed professionals and successful entrepreneurs. Inculcating in them, a greater vision for life and inspiring them to greater heights, as they move up the ladder of success, The forum kicked off in Oweri, Imo State and has also taken place in Federal University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia State, Benson Idahosa University, Benin City, Edo and will continue at Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti.
