I’m pretty sure that most people are familiar with the ingredients used for today’s juice making. But in case you don’t know beetroot, it is a root vegetable which is used in making a variety of dishes across the globe. This vegetable can be eaten cooked or raw. Beetroot has a very strong colour; its red colour usually overshadow that of other fruits and vegetables used in making the juice. This mixed vegetable fruit juice is an immune booster. You’ll find it a worthy addition to your homemade juice timetable.

How To Prepare
The first step in making this juice is to prepare the vegetables. Thus, start by scrubbing and rinsing the beets to get rid of sand. When the beets are clean, cut off the ends of the beets. Peel them and cut them into cubes. Put two cups of water in a pot. Bring it to a boil. Place a steamer basket into the pot and put the cubed beets into it. Cover the pot and steam for ten minutes. Check the beets, if they are fork tender then your beets are ready. Turn off the heat and scoop the beets into a plate to cool. Rinse the ginger thoroughly and cut into tiny bits. If you are using whole pineapple, rinse, peel and cut the fruit into small cubes. Measure out the needed quantity. Set aside for later use. Rinse the grapes, the orange and the carrots. Squeeze the juice out of the orange and remove the seeds from the juice. Set this aside for later use as well. Cut the carrot into smaller bits. With these done, your ingredients are ready to use. Put all ingredients except the beets and orange juice in the blender. Add about 700ml of water and blend smoothly. Put a mesh strainer bag in a clean, sizeable container and pour the blended juice through it. Strain and squeeze till all the juice is in the container and the chaff in the strainer bag. Rinse the blender. Add the cooked beets into it. Mix honey into the orange juice. Pour it and some of the strained juice into the blender. Blend till smooth. Pour into a container and refrigerate. When it’s chilled, serve and enjoy your mixed vegetable fruit juice. Source: Foodfrikas Kitchen YouTube Channel Featured Image Source: Best WallpaperGot a suggestion?
