The PoS Innovation Summit is an intervention designed as a platform to address the noticeable gaps in the PoS business in Nigeria as well as to promote the adoption and usage of innovative PoS solutions in order to achieve the objectives of attaining sustainable growth in the sector.
The maiden edition of the PoS Innovation Summit held on Friday 29th September 2017 at the exquisite The George, Lagos.
The summit program commenced some minutes past 7.00pm with the keynote address from Dr. Doyin Salami of the Lagos Business School who had some lofty ambitions for the players in the industry to aspire to. Other merchants had a platform to express their challenges on a panel and also proffered desirable solutions. In response to most of the challenges faced by merchants using PoS terminals for retail transactions, Global Accelerex, the convener and a major player in the PTSP business, eventually had the chance to present to the audience a new device capable of reducing transaction time and converting more sales due to operational efficiency.
The guests were later treated to a sumptuous dinner at the Michelangelo Restaurant of the hotel to crown an evening of networking and good-natured company.
