According to SL10.ng, Flying Eagles first choice goalkeeper Dele Alampasu is undergoing trials with Portuguese club, SC Braga who once had Elderson Echejile in their books.
Alampasu’s London-based agent Olusola Orelaja revealed in an interview that the player is not in Spain as previously reported but in Portugal.
“I don’t know where the story comes from, all I know is that as I speak to you, I am in Portugal with Dele, and hopefully in the next few days a deal for him would be concluded,” Orelaja said on phone.
“Due to the club’s interest I spoke with the Under-20 gaffer to release Alampasu to meet with the club management which might reach an agreement with him in couple of days.”
Alampasu is yet to arrive to camp for the Flying Eagles preparations for the Africa Youth Championship, which will take place in Senegal in March, and if successful will team up with Chidi Osuchukwu at the club.
