Poem of the Week: Stolen Waters

By Nehi Igbinijesu

Sneak sneak
Stolen waters are sweet
Nosy nether need know
How once avid we did tweet

Peek peek
Just a little see
One look too lustful
Like Bathseba’s- then we

Quick quick
Snatched a little of what not
Feasting on the worthless
Like Esau on Becca’s broth

Squeak, squeak
Chattering go tongueful eyes
With tabloid leaks
Then scandalous headlines

A sneak
And a peek quick
Left squeaks
Of a wedlock leak

Ask Bill, David and Mark
Stolen waters make glad Saltry surrogates for prozac
Damsels for women left sad
