What a wonder it is To see the beauty on their faces Smiles painted in strange and unlikely places They roam the corners, alleys and streets In search for warmth and food to eat Any place at all to sleep Company, someone who they can call friend Life in its unfair nature Bore them to so much pain and torture How can such beauties be conceived by such wickedness Innocent children abandoned for the painful grip of death Left by hearts, short of love Yet, they awake everyday Better clothed than lavenders and lilies And with more food than the sparrows If these who we term “UNFOTUNATE” Can live with so much happiness Then we have so many questions to answer
