Read more about Nigeria @60
This great nation, blessed with both human and natural resources has not been without challenges, however, Nigerian citizens have the greatest resolve in the world. Despite, the gloomy sky, we are very firm in our resolve to press towards the sunny day. One of the most beautiful aesthetics of October 1st is the flag of Nigeria; Green, White, and Green. Unfortunately, we do not get to see it every day, but our independence day affords us the opportunity to reverence the flag of our great nation. The flag of Nigeria was designed by Mr Michael Taiwo Akinkunmi in 1959. He won the competition of a call to design the Nigerian flag and was awarded 100 pounds.

Below are photos of how beautiful 2020 edition of our independence Day looked. Due to COVID-19, 2020 edition of Nigerian Independence did not enjoy as much rave as other years have, however, the most important issue is not the celebration but the way forward.
‘The labour of our heroes past shall never be in vain.’This is only possible if we come together and make Nigeria Great. This is wishing Nigeria and Nigerians a happy 60th anniversary, once again and looking forward to greater achievements as a people.
