NENE-UWA HUB LTD, an indigenous Tourism Brokerage Firm is collaborating with tourism enthusiasts to celebrate a Nigeria’s version of the World Tourism Day. We are hosting a photo contest where participants would be required to share photos taken of them, at a Nigerian tourist site they have visited, with a caption story of less than 50 words on how they can be a better Responsible Travelers. The idea is to create awareness on the benefits of Sustainable Tourism and exploring tourist destinations in Nigeria, thereby encouraging Domestic Tourism.
The idea is to create awareness on the benefits of Sustainable Tourism and exploring tourist destinations in Nigeria, thereby encouraging Domestic Tourism. The contest starts Wednesday, 13th September 2017 and voting ends Tuesday, 26th September 2017 by 11:59 pm.
Contestants should post their pictures on their Instagram pages, tag Nene-Uwa’s Instagram handle, @ajalanene and use specially indicated hashtags #IY2017, #NeneUwa, #TravelEnjoyRespect, and #NaijaWTDPhotoContest for easy tracking. The three (3) pictures with the highest number of likes would win prizes from our sponsors. The winners would be announced on World Tourism Day which is held on Wednesday, 27th September 2017.
PHOTO CONTEST GUIDELINES
- Photo must be taken of the participant in a NIGERIAN TOURIST destination. Kindly indicate where exactly the picture was taken (Both tour destination and state)
- Write a caption of fewer than 50 words on how you can be a better RESPONSIBLE TRAVELLER by promoting both Sustainable Tourism and Domestic Tourism in Nigeria
- Use the following hashtags when sharing your photo: #TravelEnjoyRespect #IY2017 #NaijaWTDPhotoContest #NeneUwa
- Kindly follow the following IG pages: @ajalanene @lagoslaidbac @tvpadventures @travelwithapen @folawaka @unravellingnigeria
- Note, DO NOT post more than ONE picture on your page or write more than 50 words if not you would be DISQUALIFIED. Also, ensure you use the proper hashtags and follow the required IG pages.
- Participants have to be Nigerian Citizens Only
- Note that the three (3) winners would not only win an ALL inclusive local tour package from our various sponsors, but their pictures would also be used to make postcards courtesy @ajalanene @lagoslaidbac and @travelnextdoor to celebrate World Post Day holding on October 9th, 2017
