Peak Milk has reemphasized its unfailing support to the Nigeria Para-Powerlifting Federation for the development of para-athletes and the federation’s facilities.
The dairy mammoth-brand will continue to provide Nigeria’s para-athletes with the needed products that will help them build stronger muscles and improve their general health.
The Managing Director of Friesland Campina Wamco, manufacturers of Peak Milk, Ben Langat, made the declaration over the weekend, when he led Peak Milk’s management team to the Para-powerlifting Gym at the National Stadium, Lagos.
The country’s para-athletes have been training in the gym equipped and maintained by Peak Milk, ahead of the Lagos 2019 Para-powerlifting tournament, which kicked-off on Sunday at the Oriental Hotel in Lekki, Lagos.
“In the past, you made Nigeria proud in competitions outside the shores of the country and now that it is in your domain, I want to assure you that we are going to give you all the necessary support you need to clinch the entire medals,.”
“Friesland Campina Wamco is very happy to be associated with you [Para-powerlifters] because you have inspired lots of lives and we want you to continue in that same spirit so that others will continue to learn from your successes.”
The Peak Boss also assured the athletes about the bus the company promised would be made available to aid their movement during the competition.
