Terra Kulture is home to Lagos’ stage plays. Throughout this month, the outdoor theatre has been home to Paul Ugbede’s stage play called The Two Both of Us. It is a drama directed by Ifeanyi Eziukwu and assisted by Bunmi Awolowo. This family comedy stars the likes of Awesome Duru, May Okanigbe, Adetutu Mogaji, and Chioma Okechukwu.

Paul Ugbede is an acclaimed playwright, author, and script editor. He has over twenty plays to his credit performed by different theatre houses and during festivals in Nigeria and around the world. He has also authored books such as Piece and Pieces (2019), a collection of short stories, Our Son the Minister (2017), a play that won the Beeta Playwriting Competition, and Trading Places (2021), a collection of plays.

The Two Both of Us is a stage play that debuted at Shodex Garden, Anthony, Lagos, in 2019. The story touches on the triggers for marital infidelity and if a couple can navigate their way to a happy ending. Just Theatre House played it while marking its fifth anniversary that year.

This year, the play is making a comeback, thanks to KSB, associate producer, Ibijoke Omogul and Ebikekemi Ere, the co-producers. It has been showing live on Saturdays and Sundays this June. If you want a chance to enjoy this performance, then visit on the following days:

Saturdays: 18th & 25th June 2022

Sundays: 26th June 2022.

Venue: Terra Culture (Outdoor Theatre).
