Osimhen was subject to criticism after receiving a red card in Napoli’s first 2021/2022 Serie A clash against Venezia, but the former Lille OSC forward has since put that set back behind and scored 5 times in 5 games across all competition for the Partenopei. Osimhen, 22, has been in superlative form for the Luciano Spaletti side, scoring for the third consecutive time with a brace in Napoli’s 4-0 bashing of Sampdoria on Thursday, September 23.
