Super Eagles superstar, Osaze Peter Odemwingie has signed a new one-year extension deal to keep him at Stoke City for another season.
He hit the summer with a question mark over his future after the end of his initial 18-month contract. He suffered an unfortunate injury last season after making a big impression immediately after joining the club.
Announcing the contract signing Thursday, Stoke’s Chief Executive Officer, Tony Scholes stated: “We are delighted to announce that Peter has extended his stay with us at the club until the summer of 2016.”
Osaze, who scored a decisive goal for Nigeria against Bosnia Herzegovina in the last FIFA world cup will be expected to fill the void that was left by Victor Moses after completing his loan spell last season.
