  Nigerian striker, Paul Onuachu, has been encouraged to break the 30-goal record in the Belgian league by the record holder, Wesley Snock who featured for Ajax and Genk during his playing years. Onuachu is currently one of the highest goal scorers in Europe’s top 15 leagues.

He is ahead of big names like Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, and others, improving his tally on Wednesday night (January 6, 2021) to 18 goals after bagging a hat trick against Eupen in a match which saw KRC Genk record an important 4-1 away win. Only Robert Lewandowski is ahead. Wednesday’s goals meant Onuachu has now scored nine times in his last seven league appearances. Quizzed on the possibility of Onuachu hitting his 30-goal record, Snock who set the record in the 2001/2002 season had nothing but praises for the Nigerian.
