Onazi Attracts North London’s Tottenham Hotspurs!

Lazio midfield sensation, Onazi Ogenyi could be on his way to North London side, Tottenham Hotspurs according to reports in Italy. Onazi made his Super Eagles debut in 3-1 win over Venezuela in an international friendly in Miami, USA, on November 14 and his performance sparked an interest from Tottenham. Onazi stepped into the limelight after a mesmeric performance at the FIFA U-17 World Championship, which Nigeria hosted in 2009. He, alongside Sani Emmanuel attracted Chelsea’s interest after helping the Golden Eaglets to a silver medal finish. According to reports, talks are already going on between the player’s agent, John Shittu, his parent club, My People FC and Tottenham Hotspur for an immediate transfer during the January transfer window.
