The highly anticipated Facebook event, announced last week in an invitation by Facebook to the media to come  see its new Home on Android, was held a few hours ago. Facebook has launched a Home screen for Android phones that is more than a typical app, since its focus will be on the comfort of the user and the ease in connecting with friends. “Our phones are designed around apps and not people. We want to flip that around.” Mark Zuckerberg CEO of Facebook said while announcing the new product. Facebook went a step further with the announcement of the new HTC First phone, preloaded with Facebook Home and going on sale with AT&T wireless carrier in the U.S. on April 12, the same date the software will be available to download on selected Android devices.
