International Movie, Amina, directed by UK-based Nigerian, Christian Ashaiku, was premiered on Wednesday, October 17, in London. Attending the event was the lead actress, Omotola Jolade-Ekeinde, who played, Amina, a woman who suffered from psychosis. The movie also features British actors Wil Johnson and Vincent Regan, and Ghanaian actor, Van Vicker. Amina is a deeply emotional story of loss, love and redemption which follows the journey of a gifted young woman whose life turns into disarray after an unplanned pregnancy leaves her totally devastated and bewildered. Unsure and vulnerable, she fights single-handedly to raise her child, but stumbles and falls at every turn into deeper emotional turmoil that eventually leaves her lost, lonely and unstable in the care of a mental institution.   WATCH: Trailer – Amina
