Kenneth-Omeruo in action Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo will return to Chelsea for pre-season training on July 24. Omeruo joined the London side from Standard Liege in 2012 but was immediately loaned out. Chelsea coach, Jose Mourinho has revealed his admiration for the defender who spent last season on loan at Dutch club, ADO Den Haag. Omeruo has put his shoulder surgery on hold to partake in Chelsea’s off season. He hopes to make an impression on the Portuguese gaffer. He suffered the shoulder injury on duty for Nigeria during the Confederations Cup in Super Eagles 3-0 defeat to Spain. He will join Mikel John Obi and Victor Moses at the London club.
