Olatorera Oniru is the Founder and CEO of Dressmeoutlet, an online retail site for lifestyle products mostly manufactured in Africa.
Olatorera has a Master in Business Administration from the Emory University, USA; and Executive Management Certificates from the Stockholm School of Economics, Sweden and International Institute for Management Development, Switzerland. She is also a member of the National Scholars Honor Society USA.
She draws from a rich pool of career experience through which she leaves a touch of excellence in everything she sets out to do. Olatorera Oniru has worked for General Electric, the Bank of America Merrill Lynch, as a Senior Analyst for the Global Markets and Investment Banking Business Development Group; as a Senior Supervisor for the Central Bank of Nigeria; as a global consultant for the telecommunications company, Lars Magnus Ericsson and with MTN Nigeria as Head of Sales Governance.
In 2007, she founded Top 100 Our Generation, to inspire young Nigerian leaders, and has headed other projects before founding her online business, dressmeoutlet.com in 2015. In 2016, she was recognized by Commonwealth Africa Awards for Entrepreneurship, named as one of Forbes’ “30 Most Promising Young Entrepreneurs in Africa”, and was awarded the Young Achiever Award by the World Leadership Congress in Mauritius.
Olatorera Oniru is currently a member of Lionesses of Africa and the National Scholars Honor Society, USA. She is widely sought after to speak on leadership, entrepreneurship and technology.
She will be speaking at the Connect Nigeria eBusiness Fair on the 18th of February at Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
