Fast rising rapper Olamide might be making waves today, but the Id Cabasa-discovered talent seems not to have forgotten his roots, as information available to us say Olamide is set to help lift his former label-mate’s career by jumping on a track with the underground talent called AB-1. News from both parties say AB-1 was part of two tracks in Olamide’s debut album “Rhapsody”, but was surprisingly missing in his second album. Both parties have left coded tunes but are still close friends and helping one another. In the words of Olamide, “It’s been a long journey for AB-1 and I, but we give glory to God that we are here today and are making plans for greater heights in music.” AB-1, who was born Abraham Princewill also had this to say about the planned collaboration, “As you know, I just released my first video “At Your Service” and I have two other singles “Rumo Rumo” and “Sope Ori” are also doing well, so getting into the studio with Olamide is a huge opportunity to push my career to the point I desire it to be”, he told us exclusively. Olamide, who has become one of the biggest new acts on the music scene, was once an act under famed music producer Id Cabasa, alongside AB-1; but both acts have since left Id Cabasa, taking their destinies into their hands by running their own labels.
