Miracles like having food to eat when hungry are hardly recognised. But either through personal experience or in some indirect form, some people can relate to how some foods had saved their lives.
Whatever the case be, it is time to tell your story in the most creative and funny way ever. Okadabooks.com calls for writing entries for the theme: “How Jollof Rice Saved My Life”.
To enter, contestants must add the #Jollofrice after their title, and publish their story on the Okadabooks app. The story should be about jollof rice, and contestants can enter as many stories as they like, with each story having approximately 2500 words.
Entries begin on the 9th of June and close on the 30th of June 2016. By 12 noon on the 30th of June, contestants are expected to invite friends to download, read and leave ratings for their works. Points on publications will be earned on the number of downloads and ratings. For example, a publication with 100 downloads and a 4.5-star rating will score 450 points while that of 30 downloads and a 2-star rating will score 60 points.
