The Matchday two of the Nigerian Professional Football League left Nigerian soccer fans thrilled as Lobi Stars of Makurdi were the only home team to have recorded a victory on Sunday, November 10, 2019.
Jos-based Plateau United registered a 1-0 away victory against Jigawa Golden Stars after a slip in the host’s defense saw Nenrot Silas score the decider. MFM FC had to fight their way back from a goal down to get a 1-1 draw against visitors, FC Ifeanyi Ubah at Agege Stadium, Lagos. Christian Nnaji’s sixth minute opener for the Anambra-based side was cancelled out by MFM’s Adeniji Kabir in the 37th minute to ensure the game ended in a stalemate.

Elsewhere, defending champions, Enyimba FC of Aba, forced Katsina United to a 1-1 draw with a Martin Usule’s equalizer for the visitors in the 44th minute after Tasiu Lawal had gifted the hosts the lead in the 3rd minute from the penalty spot at the Shehu Dikko Stadium.
Goals from Samuel Tiza, Sikiru Alimi, Abdulkareem Mumini and Douglas Achiv was all Lobi Stars needed to record the biggest win of the Match Day with a 4-0 win against visiting Delta Force.
