Nokia has announced the Nokia Lumia 625. The latest member of the Nokia Lumia family combines a big screen and high-speed 4G Internet access to bring a premium entertainment and communication experience at a very affordable price.
The big 4.7-inch screen on the Nokia Lumia 625 offers a larger view of everything that’s important to you. It’s viewable in direct sunlight and offers super-sensitive touch technology for operation with gloves or nails.
At the same time, the phone is 4G/LTE-ready, and, delivers mobile entertainment from online video services up to 10x faster.
Product manager Vinay Jayakumar said, “The transition to 4G is gathering pace. With a super-fast internet connection, there’s a real demand for big, beautiful screens that help bring all the content to life – this is where the Nokia Lumia 625 arrives with a really competitive price to match.”
The Nokia Lumia 625 is also notable for its stand-out design, something Nokia is famous for with the Lumia range. Vinay says it’s the element of the phone that makes him most proud. Rounded surfaces all over – even down to the edges of the glass – give the phone an organic feel like a smooth pebble and a matt finish.
Orange starts the range
Available in orange, yellow, bright green, white and black, the layered polycarbonate on the changeable shells gives the surface of the Lumia 625 a translucent quality that signals an evolution in materials design.
The Nokia Lumia 625 comes with all the amazing Nokia apps and services that enrich the navigation, entertainment and imaging possibilities of the Windows Phone 8 operating system. It also comes with the latest Amber update.
Nokia Smart Camera and Cinemagraph let you make the most of the autofocus camera on the back, and the images will look incredible on the big screen. Whenever you want to search for places and get there on foot, by car or public transport, HERE Maps, HERE Drive and HERE Transit are available to you.
