HMD Global, the company that now makes smartphones under the Nokia brand name, recently launched the Nokia 2, a new affordable Android-powered phone. The device was launched in October 2017 and features a full 5-inch LCD display with a 720 x 1280p resolution and Dual SIM (Nano sim) for connectivity. The Nokia 2 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor, 1GB of RAM, and Adreno 304 GPU. Internal storage is a bit too little at 8GB (it’s 2017 duh!), but it comes with microSD expansion up to 128GB (pheww!). The Nokia 2 has an 8MP primary camera, and a 5MP selfie shooter. The LCD display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Nokia 2: The Affordable Android Phone with Long Lasting Battery The device runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat (upgradeable to 8.0 Oreo), and packs a huge 4100mAh non-removable battery. This means the device will definitely take you through a day or two on a single charge. The Dual Nano SIM supports 3G & 4G. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and FM. The Nokia 2 will cater for low/mid-range smartphone users who do not require devices with heavy specs and bank-breaking prices. The device is available in local and online stores and pricing ranges between N33,000 and N36,000.   Featured image credit: Youtube.com
