Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA) has urged the Nigerian internet community to adopt the nation’s country code top level domain, .ng .
Speaking at recent function in Lagos, NiRA’s president, Mary Uduma, said the country stands to gain when more nigerians and internet business operators in the country adopt the .ng domain which is Nigeria’s identity worldwide.
Mrs.Uduma further expressed that the revenue of mobile services will soar, coupled with increasing socio-economic activities and creativity, affordability and availability of local content hinged on development of ccTLD like .ng.
She also advocated that the .ng would add to the social, educational and cultural values and give a sense of belonging, access and inclusion of broadband services as well enhanced quality of life.
