Ukranian giants, Dynamo Kiev, which boasts of four Nigerians in their squad, beat Dinamo Zagreb of Croatia on wednesday night. Taye Taiwo, Yusuf Ayila, Haruna Lukman and Brown Ideye all played for the Kyiv men.
Chinedu Obasi Ogbuke’s Schalke hosted on French Champions, Montpellier. Julian Draxler opened the scoring for the host thus becoming the youngest German scorer in the Champions League at 19. Tunisian Karim Ait-Fana equalised for the visitors. Klass Jan Huntelaar made it two from the spot before Souleymana Camara equalised in the 90th minute.
