Nigerian-born English striker, Carlton Uzoma Cole was in action for his club side, West Ham United against Norwich City but was below par and was substituted for Malian striker, Modibo Maiga.
Osaze Peter Odewingie saw red in his side’s three nil drubbing by Fulham. Dimitar Berbatov scored a brace in that match. Osaze was given his marching orders in the 38th minute of the game.
John Obi Mikel started in midfield for Chelsea against Queens Park Rangers while Victor Moses came on as a sub. Moses had some chances which were parried away by QPR’s new keeper, Julio Cesar. The match finished goalless.
