Newcastle 2 – 2 Liverpool The Ameobi brothers were on the bench against Liverpool on Saturday as the home side fought to a 2 – all draw with the Merseyside club. Sammy was thrown into the game in the 78th minute but Shola was unused. Victor Moses played all 90 minutes but Jordan Ibe didn’t make the Liverpool team. Chelsea 4 – 1 Cardiff Osaze Odewingie played 67 minutes of the game before coming off for Frazier Campbell as his team were outplayed at Stamford Bridge. John Mikel was missing in the Chelsea squad for the game. Everton 2 – 1 Hull Sonie Aluko went down with his club at Goodison Park. The exciting young midfielder has been in top form this season but couldn’t prevent his team from dropping all three points and was substituted in the 74th minute. Stoke 0 – 0 West Brom Victor Anichebe started in attack for the Baggies in their stalemate with the Potters. The England-born Nigerian striker was replaced in the second half by Irish striker, Shane Long.
