Stoke 2-1 Manchester United
Osaze Odewingie made his full debut for Stoke after making the switch to Britannia in a swap deal with Kenwyne Jones heading to Cardiff City.
His presence in the team emboldened Stoke City who were relentess in defence after going 2-1 up through a Charlie Adam double.
