Chelsea 2-0 Fulham John Mikel Obi grabbed the headlines on Saturday when he scored his first goal in 158 games to seal a derby win for the Blues at Stamford Bridge. The midfielder had never scored in the Premier League prior to last Saturday’s game and he reacted to a corner to become an unlikely hero for the Blues.   West Brom 3-0 Sunderland Victor Anichebe replaced Nicolas Anelka in the 69th minute as his team ran riot against Paolo Di Canio’s men. Paolo Di Canio became the first managerial casualty of the season on Sunday. Sunderland has picked just a point from 5games.   Newcastile United 2-3 Hull City Sone Aluko won the game for Hull City with a stunning volley in the 76th minute. The Nigerian will be hoping to impress the Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi ahead of next year’s World Cup.  Sammy Ameobi was on the bench for the Magpies but his older brother, Shola was not on the team.   Southhampton 1-0 Liverpool Victor Moses played full minutes as Liverpool slopped to its first defeat of the season. Dejan Lovren scored the only goal of the game for the Saints. Youngster, Jordan Ibe was on the bench for Liverpool.   Cardiff 0-1 Tottenham Odemwingie finally made the bow for Cardiff against Spurs, coming off the bench in the 65th minute to replace fellow striker, Frazier Campbell but he couldn’t stop his side from going down. Paulinho scored the only goal of the game in injury time to send Tottenham joint top of the league.
