Former Super Eagles forward, Victor Moses, has fully commenced training with Turkish Super Lig giants, Fenerbahce, after spending nearly two months on the sidelines due to a muscle injury sustained.

The 2013 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) winner has not made an appearance for the Turkish side after his goal-scoring performance against Gazientep on the opening day of the season due to the injury. Moses, who is at loan at Fenerbahce from Chelsea FC of England, scored his side’s first goal of the season on the opening day prior to his substitution with less than 13 minutes left on the clock. Moses could return to full action on Sunday, October 20, 2019 for Fenerbache’s encounter against Denizlispor.

It will be recalled that Victor Moses, who played an integral role in Nigeria’s AFCON success back in 2013, chose to quit the national team after the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The sack of Antonio Conte, and appointment of Maurizio Sarri as the Blues boss, saw Moses loose his place in the club’s starting eleven, which necessitated his move to Turkey in a bid to revive his career. Fans of the European club are delighted at the news of Moses’ recovery, and are hopeful that the Nigerian will continue to display his great form for the club.
