Super Falcons of Nigeria star, Francisca Ordega, was on target for her Chinese club, Shanghai Shenhua, on Sunday, September 22, 2019 in a 5-0 victory over Wuhan to wrap up their 2019 Chinese Women’s Super League season campaign in grand style.
Francisca Ordega had inspired her team back to winning ways last week, scoring in their 3-1 win over Guangdong. Though Ordega and her teammates watched the league title slip away, the Nigerian went into the encounter hoping she and her team mates end their 2019 campaign on a positive note in front of Shanghai fans at the Jiading Stadium. The skillful Nigerian forward scored after a brace from Zhang Xin, alongside goals from Huang Yin and Zhao Yingying to mark an emphatic win and end the season as runners up in the race for the league title.
Ordega, who was part of the Super Falcons squad that finished in the second round of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France, was on for the entire duration of the game. The Falcons star finished her debut season in China with a total of seven goals in 14 league appearances for the club. However, Ordega finished the season as Shanghai’s second highest goal scorer. Victory on Sunday meant Shanghai garnered a total of 29 points, nine behind league champions Jiangsu Suning.

Ordega consistency is admirable finishing strong despite missing out on the league title. Can not wait to see her shine even brighter in the upcoming season.
